Before you make a lyric video
Lyric video creation in the current iOS app requires a completed full AI Auto-Sync song and your own background image. AI provides line timing; word or group karaoke timings are created manually for ASS / Enhanced LRC export.
Create an LRC file in four steps
- Choose an audio file on your device. The web editor never uploads selected song audio.
- Paste lyrics, one phrase per line, and build the timeline.
- Play your song and tap as each line begins. Use Space on a desktop keyboard.
- Fine-tune timestamps in steps of 0.1 seconds, and click LRC to download.
What does a valid LRC look like?
Each line starts with its offset from the beginning of the song, in minutes, seconds, and hundredths of a second.
[00:12.40]Midnight moving through the glass
[00:16.80]Every streetlight turns to gold
[00:21.15]I can hear the seconds passingThe text and timing here are illustrative. Timing must match the actual recording.
How to fix lyric timing problems
- Check every repeated chorus. Each repetition needs its own timed line.
- If lines run out of order, adjust timestamps before exporting. The editor rejects a timed export with non-increasing start times.
- For video editor captions, choose SRT instead of LRC. SRT also stores an end time.
- If manual timing is too slow, consider optional AI Auto-Sync in the iOS app.
What gets saved?
Your lyric text and line timestamps can be stored in this browser for later editing. The audio file itself is not saved. After reloading, select your audio again. LRC compatibility depends on the destination music player.
