Is the free check really free?
Yes. The manual loan check is free and works without any purchase.
What do I get when I pay?
One True Cost Report credit. It unlocks scanning your loan document, a plain-English breakdown, PDF export, and sharing. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Are the numbers exact?
No. Every amount is an estimate based on the numbers you confirm. True Interest is an educational tool and is not financial, legal, tax, or loan servicing advice. Always check with your school, lender, or loan servicer before signing.
What happens to my loan document?
When you scan a document, it is sent securely to be read for loan numbers only, and is not stored after processing. The temporary file is deleted from your device after the scan. See our Privacy Policy for details.
My purchase didn't go through / I was charged but have no credit.
Purchases are handled by Apple. If a charge didn't unlock your report, email us with the date of purchase and we'll help. You can also review or request a refund through your Apple account at reportaproblem.apple.com.
